The visit begins outside, where you can see the façade of the College Church, testimony of several constructive phases and progressively assuming the grandeur of the Baroque style. It continues in the interior gallery, with the Coat of Arms of King Manuel I and with 16th century Portuguese paintings. It then follows to other works, such as Portuguese-oriental sculptures, and the valuable collection of religious themes from various periods of the 16th to the 18th century.
The second part of the visit takes place inside the church, initially focused on the painting “Virgin Coronation”, among others, that belong to the Society of Jesus. It ends by contemplating the Baroque altarpiece with all its splendor and symbolism.
