Piano Recital with Diogo Bouça

Special participation by Matilde Rodrigues on the viola d'arco

Música no Museu 2025 brings to the public a special recital featuring the young pianist Diogo Bouça, accompanied by the talented violist Matilde Rodrigues. This concert is a celebration of emerging talent, showcasing works from both classical and contemporary repertoires.

The recital will include performances of composers such as Mozart, Bach, Chopin, Scriabin, Mendelssohn, Ravel, Sakamoto, Rachmaninoff, and António Fragoso, highlighting both solo pieces and arrangements for piano and viola d'arco.

Biographical Notes

Diogo Bouça

Born in Lisbon in 2007, he began his musical studies at the age of 8 and is currently attending the 8th grade of the Secondary Course in Specialized Artistic Education in Piano at the Conservatório Regional de Ponta Delgada. He has excelled in national competitions and participated in masterclasses with renowned pianists.

Matilde Rodrigues

A native of Ponta Delgada, she started her musical studies at the age of 6 and specialized in viola d’arco. Her career is marked by participation in orchestra workshops and collaborations with internationally renowned musicians.
