The Carlos Machado Museum will host a Museutalks session on October 3, at 4:00 pm, at the Santa Bárbara Center in Ponta Delgada, featuring archaeologist Pedro Parreira, a specialist in cultural heritage management.

This talk will explore risk assessment methodologies applied to Azorean archaeological heritage, ranging from threat mapping to heritage safeguarding processes. The risk maps were designed for the historic centers of Azorean towns and cities, gaining particular relevance in the current context of municipal elections.

This initiative is part of the exhibition Archaeology, from Convent to Museum, on view at the same center. Admission is free and no registration is required.
