Utopia Açores will be a continuous presence throughout 2026, integrated into the official programme of Ponta Delgada – Portuguese Capital of Culture.

The spaces of Utopia Açores will be as diverse as the ways of experiencing literature. Literary curation will have a central presence at the Museu Carlos Machado, which will serve as a reference venue for meetings, presentations, and immersive experiences, and also at the Public Library and Regional Archive of Ponta Delgada, which will host readings, panel discussions, and workshops.

The aim is to allow literature to circulate and manifest itself in multiple places, from the most formal to the most unexpected, transforming Ponta Delgada into a vast territory of words, listening, and encounter.
