"Shared Narratives: Exploring the Cultural Heritage of Itajaí and the Azores" - Dr. Tayná Castro
The Carlos Machado Museum is excited to announce the upcoming Museum Talks scheduled for May 17th at 3 p.m., to be held at the Santa Bárbara Center. Dr. Tayná Castro, a distinguished Museologist from the Historical Museum of Itajaí, will be the keynote speaker, delving into the intriguing topic of "Shared Narratives: Exploring the Cultural Heritage of Itajaí and the Azores."
Dr. Tayná Castro originates from Belém in Pará, situated in the northern region of Brazil. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Museology from the Federal University of Pará (2017) and earned her Master's degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the Graduate Program in Architecture and Urbanism at the same university (2020). Since 2021, she has been serving at the Genésio Miranda Lins Foundation, a municipal agency, where she serves as a museologist at the Historical Museum of Itajaí, duly registered with the Regional Council of Museology under number 5R 0139-I.
