The Carlos Machado Museum and the Associação Seniores de São Miguel inform that an event will take place at the Sacred Art Center (Igreja do Colégio) on October 5th, 2024, at 3:30 PM.

This event is a tribute session dedicated to seven notable individuals from São Miguel, whose dynamic and inspiring actions in their professional fields and civic involvement in the community deserve recognition.

The following individuals will be honored:

Dr. João Bosco Mota Amaral | Presented by Professor Dr. Vasco Garcia

Professor Ana Paula Andrade | Presented by Dr. João Miranda

Mr. Jorge Rita | Presented by Professor Dr. Mário Fortuna

Dr. Berta Cabral do Couto | Presented by Professor Dr. Teresa Medeiros

Mr. Ernesto Resendes | Presented by Professor Dr. Avelino Meneses

Professor Dr. José Bettencourt Baptista | Presented by Professor Catedrática Leonor Pavão Sequeira de Medeiros

Mrs. Patrícia Bensaude | Presented by Dr. Gualter Furtado

There will also be a musical moment with the performance of Ave Maria, by Giulio Caccini, with Ana Paula Andrade on piano and Luís dos Anjos as vocalist.
