As part of the Clássicos no Museu concert series, the Carlos Machado Museum will host, on July 27, 2025, at 5:00 PM, at the Núcleo de Arte Sacra – Church of the Jesuit College, a performance by Trio Perpétuo, featuring Filomena Andrade (violin), Maria Leonor Moniz (cello), and Manuel Prata (piano).
Formed in 2021 within the chamber music class at the Lisbon College of Music (Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa), Trio Perpétuo was created under the pedagogical guidance of Paulo Pacheco. Since then, the group has developed its artistic journey with renowned teachers such as Ursula Smith, Indré Baikstyte, Ana Beatriz Manzanilla, and Levon Mouradian.
The Trio has performed in prestigious venues and events, including the Eesti Muusika – ja Teatriakadeemia in Tallinn, Estonia, and the Fernando Mascarenhas Music Festival at Palácio Fronteira, in Lisbon. In 2022, they were awarded 2nd Prize in the Chamber Music – Higher Level category of the Prémio Jovens Músicos, one of Portugal’s most important classical music competitions.
This concert is part of the Clássicos no Museu programme by the Quadrivium Artistic Association, supported by the Carlos Machado Museum.
